The name of the project is called "The Giving Project" the purpose is to aggregate the ingredients (through fund raising and can donations), assemble the meals (through a locally sponsored commercial kitchen) and deliver the meals to fifty families that are having such a tough time that they would otherwise go without a nice meal on Thanksgiving. Waxy O'Connor's is contributing the kitchen efforts, and Kiwanis of Miami Beach is the biggest sponsor providing money and cans for the projects completion.
